About Better Bodies

Betterbodies Falkirk Fitness Store originated way back in the summer of 2007 in Main St Bainsford, Since then it has endured a facelift to a much larger premises and new management structure, now located on Grahams Road (next to Jim Allan Bikes).

The aim of Betterbodies Falkirk has been to supply falkirk and the surrounding area with affordable nutritional supplements / gymwear for the local gym / sports enthusiast. The propriator - René B Rowlings Bsc(Hons) PhD began lifting weights way back when he was 9 yrs old with his father in the early 1980's at the Grangemouth Sports Complex.

Training in earnest really began some 13 years ago at the tender age of 23. During this time René has followed many training regimes but has never underestimated the power of nutrition to achieve his training goals. He has also competed in several NABBA scottish shows, best placing 2nd in the First Timers class 2004.

René is also a qualified PhD Chemist graduating from Strathclyde University in 1998 having published 18 research papers worldwide in the area of organometallic syntheses.
